Hi, I’m Karen.

Nice to meet you!

I’m a Senior UX/UI Designer with a strong visual foundation and a multicultural design perspective. Originally from Venezuela, I’ve spent the last 15 years between France and Germany, experiences that have deeply shaped how I approach design across cultures and platforms.

My background in graphic design taught me to care deeply about clarity, hierarchy, and visual rhythm. Over time, I moved into UX/UI and found what I love most: designing thoughtful, accessible interfaces that solve real problems and reflect the identity of the brand behind them.

What I do best.

I work across web and mobile, from building scalable UI systems to optimizing accessibility and flows for brands like McFIT, John Reed, Gold’s Gym, and Heimat. From restructuring homepages to refining design systems, I approach every project with clarity, structure, and empathy. But design isn’t the only way I express creativity.

Design Philosophy

Design should solve problems with empathy, clarity, and a strong visual voice.

When I’m not designing…

You’ll probably find me following a new Procreate illustration tutorial, or working on my own (early!) ideas. I love interior design, and I’m always playing with light, color palettes, and seasonal changes at home, sometimes it’s a bold new wall color, sometimes it’s rearranging everything for the winter mood.

If you’re looking for someone who brings structure, empathy, and strong visual thinking to complex problems…
